Kentucky encyclopedia, ©1992: page 661 (Edgar Young Mullins, Baptist minister and educator, born January 5, 1860 in Franklin County, Mississippi. Grew up in Mississippi and Texas. Attended the Agricultural and Mechnical College of Texas (1876-1880) and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville (1881-1885). Served as pastor in Harrodsburg, Ky, Baltimore, and Newton Center, Mass. Served as president of of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1899. Author of 10 books. Died in November 1928.)
