Moved to Adyar, India, the headquarters of the Theosophical Society, in 1884 where he became editor of the magazine, The Theosophist; moved to Sydney, Australia in 1914 where became associated with the Liberal Catholic Church and was consecrated as the second bishop of the Liberal Catholic Church.)
