  • Information found: title page (Photin) pages 163-164 (Photin; like his mentor Marcellus, he hailed from Ancyra (modern Ankara); sometime shortly before 344, he was made bishop of Sirmium (modern-day Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia). He was deposed in 351 but reinstated under Emperor Julian. He was again deposed under Emperor Valentinian (who reigned from 364 to 375) and died in 376 in exile)
