Blum; I currently work at the American University in Cairo as Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy.My research focuses on theory and method in religious studies and on substantive topics at the intersections of philosophy and religion, particularly science and religion, religious experience, and religion, society & ethics. I did my graduate work at the University of Pennsylvania, where I received my PhD in religious studies. Before going to Penn, I studied philosophy and religion at Lafayette College in Easton, PA. While doing coursework at Penn I lived in Philadelphia, and since then I've traveled a decent amount and occasionally lived abroad. In the states, I most recently hung my hat in Boston.
